Shipping Policy
We ship across India from Thane. Mirrors are the one category where packing
decides whether the order succeeds, so this page says exactly what we do and what we expect from you on delivery
day.
How the timings work
Handling is 1-2 business days — the time from a confirmed order to the carton leaving us.
Transit is on top of that: 2-4 business days to a metro address and
4-8 business days elsewhere. Added together that gives
3-6 business days to a metro address and 5-10 business days elsewhere, which is the figure quoted everywhere on this site. Working days exclude
Sundays and public holidays.
Packing
Each mirror goes into a rigid carton with the reflecting face protected and the corners boxed. Larger pieces
get additional corner protection because that is where a carton takes the blow. We do not ship mirrors in padded
envelopes or soft wrap, whatever the size, and we do not consolidate two mirrors into one carton.
On delivery day
- Look at the carton before you sign. If it is crushed, soaked or rattling, refuse it and tell us.
- If you accept it, open it while the delivery person is still there where that is possible.
- Photograph the carton and the mirror if anything is wrong, before the packing goes in the bin.
- Report damage within 48 hours of delivery to
studio@glassgallery.shop. We replace or refund.
Delivery estimates are what our carriers commit to, not a guarantee. Weather, festival
season and local restrictions all stretch them, and a large carton is the first thing a stretched network puts
aside. If your order is past the estimate, write in with the order number and we will chase it.
Address and access
Please give a full address with a landmark and a phone number that will be answered. A large carton often needs
someone present, and a second delivery attempt costs a day at best. If nobody is available, the carrier holds the
shipment and contacts you; after repeated failed attempts it comes back to us and is treated as a cancelled order
under the Cancellation Policy.
Tax
The Glass Gallery is registered under GST, GSTIN
27AHSPJ9248A1Z2. Prices are inclusive of 18% GST, so the figure printed beside a mirror is the whole
amount payable and nothing labelled tax is added at checkout. A GST tax invoice is available on request —
ask when you order, or write in afterwards with the order number.
Orders placed after 3:00 PM IST are picked up the next working day. We do not dispatch on days the shop is closed or on public holidays, and delivery windows are estimates rather than guaranteed dates.
