Frequently asked questions
Mirrors raise a particular set of worries — will it survive the courier, will it fit the wall,
what happens if it does not. These are the answers, with the same figures used everywhere else on this site.
Before you order
How do I know the size works?
Every listing gives height and width in inches, height first. Measure the wall, subtract what sits below it, and
compare. As a rule of thumb: 12 to 20 inches is an accent piece, 22 to 30 inches is the working size above a basin
or a dressing table, and 32 to 36 inches becomes the object in the room. If you are unsure, send the measurement to
studio@glassgallery.shop.
Does an irregular mirror hang either way up?
No. An asymmetric or free-form outline has a definite top and bottom, so it hangs in one orientation only. A
rectangle or a rounded rectangle usually hangs both ways, and the listing says so where that is true. A round
mirror has no orientation at all, which is also why it never needs levelling.
Are fittings included?
Each mirror ships with the mounting hardware supplied by the manufacturer for that piece. What the wall needs
is a separate question — a plug for masonry, an anchor for plasterboard — and it depends on your wall.
Anything over about 28 inches deserves a fixing into masonry or a stud rather than plaster alone.
Delivery
How long does it take?
Orders are packed in 1-2 business days. Delivery is 3-6 business days door to door
to a metro address and 5-10 business days elsewhere in India. Free shipping on orders of ₹999 and above; a flat ₹49 applies below that.
How is glass packed?
In a rigid carton, face protected and corners boxed. We do not ship mirrors in padded envelopes or soft wrap at
any size. If the carton arrives crushed, soaked or rattling, refuse it, or open it in front of the delivery person
and photograph what you find.
What if it arrives cracked?
Write in within 48 hours of delivery with photographs of the carton and the mirror.
We replace the piece or refund it — your choice. The reporting window is short because a courier will not
entertain a damage claim raised days after delivery; it is not there to catch you out.
Returns and money
How long do I have to return something?
10 days from delivery, unused and in the original packing. Full conditions are on the
Return and Refund Policy page.
When does a refund arrive?
5-7 business days to the original payment method once the return is received and checked. A
cancelled prepaid order is refunded in 5-7 business days.
How can I pay?
UPI or Cash on Delivery. Those are the only two methods on this site. We do not accept cards, net banking,
wallets or EMI, and we never ask for card details over the phone or by email.
Tax
Is GST included in the price?
Yes, and it is already in the price. The Glass Gallery is registered under GST with GSTIN
27AHSPJ9248A1Z2, and every figure shown on this site includes 18% GST. Nothing labelled tax is added separately at checkout —
there is no separate tax line on the cart page, because there is nothing left to add. If you need a GST tax invoice for the purchase,
say so and we will raise one.
